Help Make Our Schools Safe!

Are you a student looking to earn service hours at home on your own time? Do you want to be a school safety influencer? We are asking a few of our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support Make Our Schools Safe a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

1. Purpose: The main goal of this initiative is to support Make Our Schools Safe in making schools safer and raising awareness about school safety.
2. Fundraising: Participants are encouraged to start a fundraiser to support the organization. They can set specific goals, such as raising a certain amount of money, and these goals should be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound).
3. Service Hours: Students can earn service hours by participating in this initiative. They should fill out a service hour sheet from their school and email it for verification at lori@makeourschoolssafe.org. A parent or guardian should verify the time sheet.
4. Email and Text Outreach: Students can earn additional service hours by sending emails or texts to family and friends about the fundraiser. For every ten emails or texts sent, they receive one service hour, with a maximum of twenty-five service hours.
5. Prizes: There are incentives for participants, including a $100 Live For Alyssa Scholarship and a MOSS Swag Box for the person who raises the most money. All participants will be entered into a randomizer for a chance to win gift cards and MOSS Swag. Prizes will be awarded on March 1, 2024, via Zoom.
6. Deadline: The initiative should be completed by February 29, 2024.
