Title of Project: Lead like a Shark: Empowering Student Voice for a Safe & Supportive School Culture

This project expands our Leader in Me student club into a schoolwide initiative focused on creating a positive, safe, and mentally healthy school environment through leadership, peer support, and student empowerment. By equipping student leaders with the tools to advocate for themselves and their peers, we aim to foster open dialogue about wellness, model conflict resolution, and promote inclusivity and kindness throughout our school community. Through structured weekly meetings, service projects, peer mentoring, and schoolwide campaigns, students will take ownership of creating a culture of belonging and emotional safety that directly supports physical safety and academic success. This project is student-centered, designed to build confidence, voice, and real-life leadership skills while making a visible impact on campus.
